I am a fourth generation resident. My great grandparents came here in the early 1890's and were active in the community. With that exposure to history it was natural for me to be drawn to a career into teaching the subject locally. After retiring in 2007, I took the real estate course through UBC school of business and began selling in February of 2008. One irony is that my manager was a student in my first class! I enjoy assisting people buying and selling real estate as it is one of the biggest decisions they make in life.
